Review of Hollywood Monster by Robert Englund with Alan Goldsher.

Okie folks, please bare with me as this is my first book review in nearly 15 years. Last time I reviewed anything it was for a small local paper and it was short, sweet and to the point.

I just acquired this book on Friday afternoon, picked it up to give it the once over as I do all new book purchases and that my friend is all it took, I was hooked! A half an hour later (Yes I speed read, lol) I was finished. Nothing pleases me more then the satisfaction of having read a good book but more yet of having made a wonderful investment for my personal library.

I hope this will bring you some insight, and that you will enjoy reading both the review and hopefully the book!

Hollywood Monster: A Walk Down Elm Street with the Man of your Dreams.

with introductions by Wes Craven and Tobe Hooper.

298 pages

ISBN: 978-1-4391-6325-2 (eBook)

Upon completion of this book I was in tears, not because it was horrible, no. In fact it was the exact opposite. I found it to be hilariously funny, brutally truthful and a wonderful peek into the life and career of one of the most interesting, fantastic actors of our time.

Robert Englund has a presence and magnetism with his extraordinary charisma, witty personality and a devilishly funny sense of humor that shines through on the pages of his book just as it does through the characters that he portrays in his projects. You honestly feel as if he himself is sharing these events in his life with you right there in the moment.

Very well written, the entire book takes you on a journey, never disappoints and always has you anticipating what's on the next page. I promise you this is one of those rare, can't put down till you finish books and you will be happy you read it!

For an authentic autographed copy of Robert's book, please visit his website to make your book purchase at: RobertEnglund.com

And that concludes my review folks. Hope it has been insightful. Comments are welcome, as are your own personal reviews and/or opinions of the book. But please everyone be nice ;-)

Peace be with you All!

Welcome to Book Reviews with A Hart!

Welcome one and all to my latest blog adventure. I know it seems I've went from barely blogging to now having several blogs at once. Truth is with life, health and finances on the brink at times it is difficult to pencil in blogging as a necessity. But I have been lucky enough in the recent months to get a great new job doing something I love, my health is slowly coming back up and life, well that's always a series of ups, downs and curve balls but its all in how you deal with it that makes it or breaks for each individual and their family. Okie moving forward.

The inspiration for starting this blog today so shortly after just starting my blog trailing my journey from clutter is a wonderful book I just purchased and read in one afternoon, 'Hollywood Monster; A walk down Elm Street with the man of your dreams' by Robert England with Alan Goldsher (I will add my review shortly).

By the way, yes I am what some call a nerd, geek or book worm. But whatever you want to call me is fine, truth is I love learning, reading and technology and I love drowning myself in it! Learning makes the world go around, or at least teaches you how indeed the earth does rotate, lol!

I'm certain my reviews won't always please everyone, for that I give my apologies upfront. However I am also just as certain my reviews may also spark a desire to read the book of choice or maybe encourage some to read anything or everything they can get their hands on.

I welcome others comments, reviews, opinions and suggestions for reads. But I want to make it clear now this is a 'Fair Play Zone' so there will be NO harsh words, NO criticism of anyone's tastes in books, and absolutely NO personal attacks on anyone for any reason. The only Critique I want to see here is of the books themselves and in a respectable, mature manner which is not offense to anyone.

Alright, now we have the background, motivation behind the blog, the idea and of course the rules for comments/reviews, etc. Its time to bring this post to an end and get to the reason we're all here. The Book Reviews!

Peace be with you All!
